Pandemic Planning at CMU
Central Michigan University is continuously striving to provide the safest environment for all students, faculty, staff and visitors. Recently, there has been an increased interest in influenza throughout the University community.
At the request of Vice President George Ross, the Campus Environmental Health and Safety Committee has formed a working group to address the issue of pandemic influenza planning. The group is currently planning a tabletop scenario to assist campus departments with planning the course of events which will need to take place if there is an outbreak of influenza on campus.
This website has been designed to help answer questions regarding influenza. Use this information to inform yourself and others about influenza and what you can do to help prevent an outbreak. Also, learn about what CMU is doing to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the campus community.
